1. About these terms
This website, hotelslumiere.com ("Lumière Hotels", "we", "us", "our"), is operated by Lumiere Group LLC. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the website and any booking you make through it. Our registered business address is available on request by emailing support@hotelslumiere.com.
2. Our service
Lumière Hotels is a curated booking service. We help you discover and reserve rooms at independent, third-party five-star hotels. We are not the hotel operator and do not own, manage or control the hotels featured. Each hotel is responsible for the accommodation and services it provides, and its own house rules and policies apply to your stay.
Hotel descriptions, photographs, ratings and guest scores are provided for general guidance. We take care to keep information accurate, but we do not warrant that every detail is complete or error-free, and facilities may change.
3. Making a booking
To book, you select a hotel, room, dates and number of guests and rooms, then provide your details and pay. When you complete payment you are submitting a booking request, and you will immediately receive a confirmation reference (beginning "LUM-").
Your booking is subject to availability at the hotel. In the rare event that we are unable to secure your reservation, we will notify you and refund in full everything you have paid; that refund is your sole remedy in those circumstances. You are responsible for ensuring the details you provide — including guest names, dates and contact information — are accurate.
4. Prices & payment
- All prices are shown in euros (EUR) and are per the stay you select.
- Before you pay, your total is fully itemised: the room rate (× nights × rooms), applicable taxes (VAT / city tax) and a service fee. Breakfast is included as standard.
- Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own secure, PCI-compliant page and are never seen or stored by this website. Your card is charged when you complete payment.
- We accept the card networks and wallets supported by Stripe (including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay). If your bank settles in another currency, exchange rates and fees are set by your card issuer.
5. Cancellations & refunds
Rates offered through Lumière Hotels are non-refundable once your booking is confirmed. This is clearly shown at checkout before you pay. If you cancel, change or do not show up, the amount paid is not refunded, except where required by law.
If your plans change, please contact us as early as possible with your booking reference. We will do our best to assist and to raise your request with the hotel, but changes and goodwill refunds are at the hotel's discretion and cannot be guaranteed.
The one exception is set out in section 3: if we are unable to confirm your reservation with the hotel, you receive a full refund.
6. Your responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
- You must provide accurate booking and contact details and use a valid payment method that belongs to you or that you are authorised to use.
- You are responsible for complying with the hotel's policies, and for any travel documents, visas or identification required for your stay. Hotels may require a valid photo ID and the payment card at check-in.
- You agree not to use the website unlawfully, or to interfere with its operation or security.
7. The hotel & your stay
Your stay is subject to the hotel's own terms, house rules and check-in/check-out times (as a guide, check-in from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00; exact times vary). Special requests made at checkout are passed to the hotel but are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Any matters arising during your stay — including the standard of accommodation or services — are the responsibility of the hotel, though we're glad to help you liaise with them.
8. Liability
We provide the website and booking service with reasonable care and skill. Because we act as a booking facilitator and are not the hotel provider, we are not liable for the acts, omissions or standards of any hotel, or for events beyond our reasonable control (including strikes, severe weather, or other force majeure).
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you in connection with any booking is limited to the total amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
9. Intellectual property
The Lumière Hotels name, branding, text and design are owned by or licensed to Lumiere Group LLC and may not be copied or reused without permission. Some hotel photographs are used under Creative Commons or public-domain licences and are attributed on our photo credits page.
10. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lumiere Group LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of that jurisdiction. This does not affect any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force at the time you make a booking is the one that applies to that booking. The "last updated" date at the top shows when this page was last revised.
